Kansas City Brassworks was formed in 1989 to fill the need, both artistically and functionally, for a brass chamber ensemble.  Staffed with some of the mid-west's finest brass players, Kansas City Brassworks strives to bring the highest quality of performance to it's audience.  Our repertoire spans over five centuries of music and include numerous arrangements written especially for our ensemble.

Recent performance highlights:

Dedications for the Shawnee Mission Medical Center, University of Kansas School of Medicine, and the grand opening of the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

Celebratory events including, Lutheran Convention, the diocesan ordination of Bishops from Missouri and Kansas as well as several clergy installation services.

Kansas City Brassworks has also appeared on the Ruel Joyce recital series at Johnson County Community College, as well as the Cathedral Series and the Jubilate Concert Series.
